It's also worth mentioning that the DEVs seem to care a lot about their product and are quick with patching issues and adjusting balance. So it's worth the price tag if you want a great campaign with a solid RTS/RPG hybrid in my eyes. I'm only a few hours in, but I'm enjoying it so far. It's pretty different from other RTS's out there.
You cant compare a game from a tiny studio like Grimlore Games to a project like Starcraft 2. Hell Blizzard themselves will probably never make a new Starcraft game of this size, because even though they had the audacity to charge people 3 times, its probably still not worth it to make AAA RTS in 2020, much less multiplayer focused ones.

I assume lack of advertising, barely anyone even knows this game exists, also, "Not worth playing because there are not enough players" is exactly how you let games stay dead. Even though the player base is rather small it's still worth playing it, big majority of older players is always willing to help out
